Gainsville Newspaper says, Authorities found a Gainesville man dead late Tuesday in the Sardis Creek area nearly 13 hours after two other bodies were found less than two miles away. Randall M. Hulsey, 42, was found dead in his pickup truck at Sardis Creek Park about 10 p.m. Tuesday, Hall County Sheriff's Office Maj. Jeff Strickland said. Strickland said Hulsey's death is unrelated to Tuesday morning's murder-suicide on Ladd Drive off Sardis Road. Carrie Luscius, 15, of Norcross was found stabbed to death in a pickup truck at a residence on Ladd Drive around 9 a.m. According to authorities, Onas A. Cruz, 28, the former stepfather of Luscius, killed the girl and then hanged himself in a wooded area about 200 yards below Ladd Drive. Strickland did not release Hulsey's cause of death Wednesday, but said foul play has not been ruled out. However, authorities did respond to a victim killed by a gunshot wound to the head after 10 p.m. Tuesday at Sardis Creek Park, Hall County dispatch confirmed late Tuesday. Strickland said Hulsey's wife called police after he did not return home from work. Authorities searched the man's route from work to home and discovered his truck at the park. Hulsey had been dead less than an hour when he was found, Strickland said. The man's body has been sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy. No other details were available Wednesday, Strickland said. Results of autopsies performed Wednesday on the bodies of Luscius and Cruz were unavailable, Hall County Coroner Marion Merck said. Authorities believe Cruz picked up Luscius at her Norcross home Monday and took her to his residence on Ladd Drive. Luscius' mother drove to the residence Tuesday morning looking for her daughter and found her fatally stabbed inside Cruz's truck. Kathy Vaughn, Carrie Luscius' aunt, described her niece as a "straight 'A' student who never caused any trouble and always had a smile for everybody." "She will be missed so dearly, but she will always be loved," Vaughn said.
